DESTINATOR ACHIEVES 5‑STAR SAFETY RATING AT ASEAN NCAP

Mitsubishi Destinator, the all‑new 7‑seater SUV, has officially been awarded a 5‑star safety rating by the ASEAN NCAP program. This is the highest rating, affirming Mitsubishi Motors’ commitment to quality and safety for the model soon to be launched in the Vietnamese market. 

Through crash tests conducted under various positions and conditions, the Destinator achieved a total score of 77.27 points across 4 categories under ASEAN NCAP standards, including: Adult Occupant Protection (AOP), Child Occupant Protection (COP), Safety Assist (SA), and Motorcyclist Safety (MS). 

 In particular, the Child Occupant Protection (COP) category received highly positive evaluations. With the standard ISOFIX child seat anchorage system and a well‑designed interior space that accommodates various types of specialised child seats, the Destinator provides maximum reassurance and protection for the youngest members of the family.   

 To achieve this comprehensive result, Mitsubishi Destinator is built on a solid technical foundation that integrates both passive and active safety measures. 

 The model is equipped with advanced active safety system that provide prevention and risk mitigation. Key features include Blind Spot Warning (BSW) and Lane Change Assist (LCA), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Automatic High Beam (AHB), Forward Collision Mitigation (FCM), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), and Leading Vehicle Departure Notification (LCDN). 

 In addition to airbags (with the number varying by variants), the model ensures outstanding crash safety performance thanks to its high-rigidity RISE body structure. This technology helps absorb impact energy and minimize cabin deformation in the event of a collision. 

 With its 5‑star certification from ASEAN NCAP, Mitsubishi Destinator affirms itself as a safe and reliable SUV, ready to accompany Vietnamese families on every journey.
