MITSUBISHI MOTORS VIETNAM PARTNERS WITH GAIA TO PLANT 2,000 TREES IN CUC PHUONG

On March 22, 2026, Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam (MMV), in collaboration with the Gaia Nature Conservation Center, planted 2,000 trees at Cuc Phuong National Park, commit to business development alongside ecosystem preservation and a sustainable green lifestyle. 

At Cuc Phuong National Park, MMV employees planted 2,000 Nghien (Burretiodendron hsienmu) and Tau (Vatica odorata) trees—rare species of high ecological value in Vietnam. Covering an area of 0.6 hectares, the program helps restore degraded forests, plays a vital role in increasing forest cover and diversifying the endemic vegetation of the region. 

Mr. Yanagawa Tomoki – General Director of Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam, shared: 

“This activity goes beyond fulfilling corporate social responsibility goals; it reflects Mitsubishi Motors’ genuine commitment to sustainable development in the Vietnamese market. We want to ensure that environmental protection is always closely integrated into every stage of our company’s growth.” 

The forest area sponsored by MMV will be closely monitored and maintained by GAIA and the Cuc Phuong National Park Management Board for 4 years. This process aims to achieve a survival rate of 75% to 80%, ensuring the effectiveness of the reforestation efforts and fostering a thriving ecosystem. 

Moving forward, Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam aims to continue raising environmental awareness among individuals. The company will research and implement further practical environmental initiatives, embodying the spirit of a responsible and human-centric automotive brand.
