MITSUBISHI MOTORS VIETNAM AND OPERATION SMILE JOIN HANDS TO PROVIDE SURGERY FOR OVER 20 CHILDREN IN NEED

On April 12, 2025, Operation Smile Vietnam, in collaboration with the University Medical Center Ho Chi Minh City, hosted the opening ceremony of the “Smile Surgery Program”, with the support of multiple partners and sponsors. This initiative aims to provide comprehensive screening, surgical treatment, and post-operative care for 80 – 100 children with facial deformities, helping them regain confidence and a brighter future. 

With the support of Dealers and Partners through funds raised at the 30th Anniversary Celebration, Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam has provided free surgeries and new smiles for 21 children, helping them gain new opportunities and a promising future. 

This journey of bringing smiles spreads the brand’s positive message, “Drive Ahead Together for Everyday Adventure,” reflecting Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam’s dedication to advancing humanitarian programs that create lasting impact. 

About Operation Smile Organisation 

Operation Smile organisation is a global nonprofit organisation dedicated to providing free surgeries for children born with cleft lip and cleft palate in Vietnam from 1989 until now. With more than 35 years of establishment, Operation Smile has helped more than 75,000 patients, restoring smiles and hope for countless families. Contributing to this success is the collaboration of many partners, including hospitals, medical professionals, sponsors, and the trust of patients and their families. 

Each year, approximately 3,000 children in Vietnam are born with facial deformities, while over 10,000 patients still lack access to free medical services. Without timely treatment, these children face challenges in daily activities, communication, and social integration 

A 45-minute surgery is all it takes to give these children a new chance at life—a smile that opens doors to a brighter, more hopeful future.
