MITSUBISHI DESTINATOR HONORED AS “DESIGN OF THE YEAR” AT EDITORS’ CHOICE AWARDS 2025

Ho Chi Minh City, December 19, 2025 – At the Editors’ Choice Awards 2025, the all-new 7-seater SUV, Mitsubishi Destinator, was officially honored in the “Design of the Year” category. This award recognizes the Destinator for its integration of modern aesthetics and a flexible, spacious interior, contributing to the definition of future automotive trends. 

Established in 2014, Editors’ Choice is an annual awards program organized by Nghe Nhin Vietnam Magazine in collaboration with Xe Doi Song Magazine to honor products of exceptional quality. In the automotive category, evaluation criteria are based on design excellence, technological innovation, and practical utility. Meeting these stringent requirements, the Mitsubishi Destinator emerged as the winner of the “Design of the Year” title. 

Developed under the “Gravitas & Dynamism” philosophy, the Destinator is a Versatile Premium Family 7-Seater SUV. The front fascia features the signature Dynamic Shield design language, paired with a multi-layered honeycomb grille to create a commanding presence. The vehicle body is defined by muscular character lines, high approach and departure angles, and a 214mm ground clearance, optimizing performance across various terrains. Inside, the 3-row seating configuration offers a flexible layout and intelligently arranged amenities, ensuring comfort and convenience for all passengers on every journey. 

Under the hood, the Destinator is powered by a 1.5L Turbo engine integrated with dual-injection technology and a water-cooling system, delivering exhilarating acceleration while maintaining optimal fuel efficiency. 

The Destinator recorded 2,000 orders within its first week of sales, signaling a strong positive reception from the customers for this all-new model.
